Tito West is a writer, photographer and expedition guide.

Born in 1985, he was raised in the south Texas brush country and on the coastal islands along the Gulf of Mexico. His formative years instilled in him a profound fascination and reverence for the natural world, eventually leading to university studies in geology.

After graduating, Tito dedicated himself fully to writing and photography and to leading expeditions, expanding his interests beyond the natural world to encompass a fascination with cultures and human experiences.

Driven by a desire to explore the intersection of nature and culture, Tito embarked on journeys that took him across continents, immersing himself in different societies and landscapes, sometimes spending years living in these places.
