Another Life
2024In my early 20’s, I left my home in Texas and set out for Africa on a journey to discover the wider world outside the one I’d always known. This work chronicles my path as I sought to find a place in the world and ultimately discovered a sense of home in rural Africa. While I continue to work in Africa today, Another Life serves as a diary of some of my most formative years, from just coming out of university to the time I became a husband and father and started thinking less about my own place in the world and more about creating a home for my family and to start sharing Africa with them.
